Tasting Notes

Composed entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown at Ken Draymond’s vineyard in Oliver, BC, this is by far our biggest Red. The Draymond’s are third generation agriculturalists, the care and attention that they put into their sun-drenched vines is obvious upon a single taste. Inky-garnet red in colour, our Cab-Merlot exhibits aromas of cherry and plum, with hints of tobacco and cocoa. Rich and full-bodied, showcasing a range of black fruit flavours and smooth tannins. The vineyard site provides near perfect, conditions for both varietals. Excellent drainage and a sunny location produce perfect ripening year after year.
